For all of you that have seen the Facebook post today - please know that I too was ashamed and disgusted with the information shared in the post. Not one of us want to come into this at Ocean Palms, let alone have a guest or family member come into this.
I have personally talked with the owner today after she reached out to me and she did contact the Villa Operations office via email and was in contact with them on Sunday and has followed up with them today as well. The bedding has been changed.
Additionally, I brought this post (along with pictures) to the attention of Villa Operations, RMC and the board immediately this morning after it was posted.
Everyone is aware and working on the issues to resolve with the owners of the villa.
1) Availability of Villa Operations/Maintenance/Housekeeping on Saturday & Sundays (check-in)
2) Follow up on requests for maintenance and follow through.
RMC has communicated with all parties and is dispatching maintenance for roof inspection and leak inspection.
As a suggestion, when a villa owner has a maintenance issue or concern - it is strongly recommended that you email Villa Operations (luce.ammons@westin.com) for documentation purposes and also call Villa Operations and leave a message or speak with the team during business hours. Keep track of your requests and if the need arises to involve other people in your communication - you can always email stacyatOP@gmail.com and I too will be tracking and monitoring concerns and following up with owners.
Be consistent and courteous in your requests and you might check with your other owners to follow up on items that may need to be done in the villa to make sure they are done.
